Does Google devalue links from pages in the supplemental index?

    As above. If we accept that the link in all other aspects is equal (PR etc);

    Does a link from a page in the supplemental index count for nothing?

    Or simply less than a link from a page in the main index?

    Or are they equal?

    Really? Do you know what Google did with the supplemental index with the Caffeine infastructure update? You need to do some reading...

    Hehe mate Caffeine had nothing to do with the supplemental index. How could it, as Google told us they merged the supplemental index in 2008?

    Those who actually test though, know it is still around.

    Now you really showing you do not have any idea what you are talking about it. Google did not remove the supplemetal index in 2008! They stopped marking pages as being in the supplemental index in 2008, but kept using it. They now have no need for the supplemental index with the caffeine update.
