I already posted the story behind this question. That i had a high ranking blog (number one on many search terms) which dropped totally of google (and never re-appeared despite it staying on other search engines) the day that i upgraded my blogger.com account (owned by google). It seems like the blog was moved to another server and re-indexed in google at the same time. Similiar things i believe have happened to other sites, which go offline during a google re-index. Requiring a whole re promotion to get back online. YOu should only need to re-promote when you have stale content, not because your server had a glitch at the wrong time. I am not really up on this subject. If anyone has links to threads on this subject or tell the solution. I thought mirror might do it. Years of work shouldnt be ruined for this reason. //
