Yes Google index .info sites: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:*.info Google does not care about what extention you use, as long as you don't spam, it is fine with a .info domain.

Thats a sad fact. I think since the price for regging a .info domain dropped to about $0.99 - thousands of them have been registered and used for MFA and other sites that offer nothing to the internet.
