Does Google crawl your site everyday?

How many of you have sites that Google visit every day, for a sustained period of time? If not, how often does Googlebot crawl your site?

 

i get a few a day, well a few hundred i can say safely, according to cpanel stats - xxxx number of google bots visited my site the past 15 days

 

Googlebot appears to be on my site most of the time..

 

get on google webmaster to get a good idea of how much the google bot crawls your site.

No it doesn't crawl everyday. May be once in 4-5 days time.

 

It actually depends on how important the site is. If you have a site, content changes frequently it will be crawled more frequently.
My site webcosmo.com gets crawled in every two days pretty much. What I have seen is more content change, more frequent its getting.

I get the Gbot everyday. sometimes few pages, sometimes several hundreds.
The Ybots came 2 years ago and never left LOL!

 

Most of my sites are often visited by the bots every two days. Daily visits are for those highly active sites..

 

It depends on your BL and sites structures. Be sure to optimize your sites structures so that bots can crawl your site easily. Also work on targetting quality backlinks. Quality backlinks usually sites with high PR, but not all the time that PR of a site is a guarantee that the site is quality site. But most likely high PR equals faster google bots crawling your site.

I not sure if that is good or bad as im no expert, all i do know is that they eat bandwidth up...

googlebot visit speed depents on the power your backlinks.

more backlinks mean more googlebot visit

 

My PR5 & PR6 sites are visited by gogglebot nearly every day. My PR4 and lower sites are maybe once a week, sometimes 2 weeks.

I get around 100 hits per day from google on my sites (regularly updated though)

 

The Gbot is at my site every day and eats anywhere between 500 and 1500 pages per day.. Sometimes, once a month or so it goes crazy and will go thru 5,000 or so pages which is virtually the entire site..

 

going by my stats, it shows that google visits my site upto 2-3 times per week

 

Do you guys check your host log or by Google Webmaster Tools? On webmaster it shows only the last time the home page was visited. Does it mean since then Gbot may have visited other pages without going to the home page?
