Does Google crawl the description more than keywords?

When google crawls my site, does it look more towards keywords or the description? When I do a search for my site, I am able to find it using a couple words from the description, but not from the keywords. My site is only a couple months old, so I assume as time goes by it will focus on the keywords too.

Title and description are really important part of site, you can't control what the google bot would index and fetch on your site. Make sure you constructed them clearly and rich in keywords.

Do you mean Meta Description & Meta Keywords? Meta keywords is useless and it's dead..but, Meta description is very important and it plays a very major role in Search engine rankings.

    Yes, Agreed

The meta description's impact may be debatable from a SEO perspective, Meta Description is more important in search engines, just try to set unique.

Meta Description Tag Should Be Relevant To the content of the page. Unique and regularly updated content is great. That's the way to go!

Google indexed all the keywords on your site. But they prioritized the keywords on title, description and content.
