hey..guys can you tell me that wht do you think that google crawl all backlinks from any website or it have some restrictions ?
i think it does a great job, but i doubt it gets absolutely 100% of all links...gotta be really tough to do that
It depends. If your site has good incoming links and good traffic (good google search clicks), yes, google crawl every link on your site. You can use the site map and the google account to help google also.
I think it generally does a good job of crawling through each link. Just make sure you have no links in flash or javascript. Keep them text links as much as possible rather than images. Google doesn't record every single backlink a site may have. Its picky about what backlinks it decides to index (i.e. link:yoursite.com)
The question is bit typical, but IMO most of time G crawl all the links (but it's should not assumed that G will follow all links at the first visit only, it will follow links may be in 2 or more visits too). Regards, DS
One more point: Google will crawl almost everything but will NOT show all those indexed pages soon. In a site of mine, Google crawl 20+ k pages. But start showing 240 results, then 700 results, then 1400, etc. until it shows 20+ k , but that takes some weeks or even months.
I agree with yenerich google will crawl all the pages in your site but all of your pages will not appear in google at the same time. Some pages are indexed faster than other pages.
His question asked if Google crawled all the "backlinks" to a website. This means that it found all the links from other sites pointing to his site. Google and other SE's may or may not find all your external links that point to you from other sites because you can't be guaranteed when a SE will next visit a page. Some sites do good just to get 80% link saturation (Youtube for example). So, a good rule of thumb is too assume that you will have 40% of your links that you built registering at any given time unless you do some very good building on highly crawled sites.
