Does Google consider feeds duplicate content?

I've been pondering this and thought I would get everyones views.

Fact: Google penalizes websites for duplicate content.
Fact: XML, RSS, Atom and other feeds allow website owners to add others content to their sites, word for word.

I've seen a lot of the same content online as a result of syndicating content through feeds.

Do you think Google MAY consider this duplicate content?

No Google doesn't regard feeds as duplicate content. In fact google knows what feeds are and doesn't index them at all. at least feedburner feeds are not indexed by google.

Well that makes sense. Does anyone have information on the contrary?
