Does Google check other webpages?

Hello.. Just curious.. after you have been approved my Google and have started to make money do you know if Google Checks random webpages on your site? Even ones that are not linked to anything? Thanks..

 

Go ahead. Put Adsense on whatever you want. Just don't come crying here when they ban you.

 

I never said anything about being banned. I was just curious, I have some personal webpages that are not linked to anything and was wondering if Google could still see them..

 

Say what? That doesn't make sense. What do you mean "not linked to anything"? If it's not linked to anything, and Google can't see them, then you have no visitors, so what's the point in putting Adsense on them?

 

I'm talking about a personal webpage ( ex= http://www.mysite.com/personal.html
I have absolutely no ads on this page.. but very personal information that I wish google wouldn't look at.. But can Google still see that webpage?

 

I think you posted this in the wrong place...If there are no links to the page--and you put the disallow robots or no index--- whatever you should be cool.

Or a robots.txt with a command not to index.

If you had adsense on the page, Google will know about it. That's all there is to it really. Google does check pages, even humans, to verify that they aren't breaking the TOS.

 

Okay, okay, now I think I know what you're talking about. (See, you posting it here in the Adsense section confused me.) What you're realling wondering is if Google will have problems with your personal page, because you probably have things there that might violate the Adsense TOS, but you have no ads on it. If that's the case, then it's all good. Google has no business deciding what goes to pages/sites that it doesn't have ads on. I.e. It can only exert control, or care to, actually, over pages with its ads. You can have ads on every page except that one page, and you can do anything you want on that one page, and Google/Adsense has nothing to do with it.

Is that what you're concern with?

 

Yes! Thank you for your explanation! I also have one last question. Google has let me know today that I will be receiving an PIN Number in the mail.. I live in Omaha,Nebraska and was wondering if you had an estimate of how long it will take for the postcard to get to my home address.. ? Thanks

 

Sorry, can't help you there. I don't even remember having ever received a PIN. Sheesh, maybe I've been doing this for too long...

Do you mean time? Can't say. But I do mid-$XXX/day. Not great, but I diversify with other programs, or else it would be higher. It's not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket, even one as potentially great as Adsense.

 

Anyway, just imagine this:

USA is in the other side of the earth while my base, Philippines is on the opposite site. I receive the check from Google after one month of the sending date.

they said within 2 - 4 weeks in email I would be happy to reach $100 soon.
