Does Google Bookmarks provide a backlink and help in seo?

    I am thinking to use Google Bookmarks to increase my seo and page rank. Does this help and give a backlink?

    Google does not give any backlink for any type of their profile pages nor from their bookmarking pages. Bookmarking in google is not even indexed so in my opinion it is just a waste of time.

    Respectfully, Did you ever bother reading what OP said? He said about Google Bookmarks and not Google homepage.

    Answer. Your link in Google Bookmarks won't give you any positive effect with SEO on Google. It will not considered as backlinks by Google anyway.

    NO, google bookmarks is not indexed and is not public pages. Wast of time...

    Even if the bookmarks are not searchable to the public, the fact that there is an existing link going to your website means its a back link for your site and that is what google wants in search engine optimization.

    My friend, i think you are new to SEO and Backlinks, Try reading some books on seo to find the importance of Backlinks and why google use backlinks to give PageRank. There is no meaning of such a non public link....

    i found that it helps in indexing new websites but the links in not counted
