Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum and wanted to ask something. Does Google analytics really count all the traffic? I have been using it for a while and it doesn't seem to be very accurate. I mean it doesn't count as many users as my hostings control panel.. Regards Andy
Hosting Control Panel shows the result according to log files (like search engine visits + User Visits) Google Analytic shows result according to page tagging (like only visitors from different sources), So difference shows in numbers.
You got to embed the analytics code in all pages on the website. To make life easier, you can put it in a single file and include it in all files using one line code.
I have used Google analytics for a long time, it works fine. Anyway, it is just an overall review. you can just take it as a reference.
Works well, just need to keep in mind you twice not paste the code, and when you change a template, you must paste it a second time.
Yes , According to me , google Analytics is the best to sense the traffcic to your site , it has accurate results i think unlike statcounter or any other like this.
If installed correctly, GA code will work properly in terms of monitoring your site's performance, though the results are kind of delayed (especially if you're checking on a daily basis)
You might be having issues with the difference in the visit count between google adsense and google analytics. analytics count the visit after some seconds users have spent on the page and adsense count the visit when the add is displayed on the screen.
Most Online Today: 101 showing in my forum site and when i checked in google analytics it showed me only 6 people visited my site, 3 People came from search engine. I think it is showing wrong.
