Does Google analytics tracking slows down the website speed.

    Does adding google analytics slows down the website and does ajax method is an alternative for that?

    Please help me in understanding this.

    If there is a problem with the GA servers then it could slow down your load speed which is why most people put the script at the bottom of the page so it loads after everything.

    Ajaax won't help.

    As much as I hate to I agree with Sarah <jokes> Same can be said for G+1 code, put it just before the </body> tag.
