DOES GOOGLE Allow PAID Links? Someone please Clear this up for me!

    Google allow people to paid links.. BUT every paid link must use no follow attribute.

    No of course they do not... that would undermine the whole system...

    But they do give credit for people that do link baits, PRs, Yahoo Directory etc...

    1. Google allows nofollow paid links (ex. google adwords :))

    2. google does not allow dofollow paid links when
    (source google webmaster)

    3. Paid directory submission are allowed when fee covers a review charge (in other words, when it is not just buying PR)

    4. In order to compete with Yahoo in Japan, Google Japan bought a lot of links from local blogs, about 1 year ago, despite google guidelines.

    5. Google invests nearly nothing (compared with its turnover and revenues) against buying/selling links. Google relies mainly on reports from your competitors if you buy PR links. A lot of current high PR sites have bought PR links in the years 2000/2007 and get quickly top ranking. Now their top ranking makes it easier to get natural links.

    some paid links have a do-follow attribute,
    but in Google Adwords have a no-follow.
