Does google algorithm has any prefernce for the age of the site????????

The first site.. damn... lots of images. barely no text.

I did a link analysis for you there are a couple of good pr sites linking to the number one site that are not linking to you, try to get more HQ links from the niche.

 

@jeancarlohim can u just tell me where you have done the anlysis.. i too wanna check.. and the other site if full of images.. and it takes a day to load its homepage.. lol

 

Most important? it its important cus is part of the algorithm, but HQ links from authority sites are the biggest wieght on that formula. How do I know this? there are TONS of new sites that work hard on SEO that rank n1 very fast.

 

@jean anyway i am doing it when ever i am free.. i guess its much worthy to get single back link from many websites than many back link from a single website

You have to work harder at building link popularity because you don't have a keyword-rich domain.

Pr1 isn't a big deal. Just keep on getting quality backlinks, you can easily beat your competitor. And the age of domain does matter

 

Well google has the preferences with age of the website...the old your website is the more it has a backlinks and more it has a worth in google search engine.....But building links are also crucial along with age as well ....

@techinik on starting the new website i too have similar thots like u.. thots its much easy to get over my competitor.. other websites i recovered so easly.. but this one is still the first

@ prizeauc my competitor is a website wch is 3 years old.. PR 1.. 25 backlinks.. mine is 4 months old.. PR3 and 1100 back links still my website on secand place.. i guess this signifies google has prefernce over the old websites

 

Backlinks have very positive effect on pagerank and SERP's but but backlinks from irrelevant sites do not count.
Eg. You cannot have a website about CARs and then have a backlink from a site selling BABY FOOD. It doesn't work like that.
You must have a backlink from a site with a similar niche or a site which have most of your basic keywords alike.

 

thanks tybridges07 so is it like webmaster forum signatures have no values to my site..??? most of the back links i have is from the websites related with cars.. all do follow signatures od forums related to cars..

i have about 1000 baclinks and few of them are of high PR

@ seocontents Is there any value if i buy and expired domain which is 12 years old. Will it give any prefrence in SEO?????????

 

Just analyze the competitor's site on page and the off page, may be they are having better onpage and quality backlinks than yours
