Does Google Adwords help SEO a lot for new site?

    Your title and question do not seem to match.

    If you mean that google adwords will get you a lot of traffic by increasing improving your serps than the answer is no.

    If, on the other hand you want to get traffic from advertising with Adwords than it depends on the following factors

    1. The keyword you target
    2. The people you target
    3. The kind of ad you write
    4. Your budget
    5. How you manage your campaign

    If its a new site , better off optimizing ur site to get good organic results and then u can go for sponsored listings.My 2 cents.

    SEO will definitely help in longer term, but Adwords will get quick traffic at an expense. If you manage to find some good long tail keywords, you got yourself low cost traffic
