Does Godaddy still prevent transfers for 60 days after you renew?

Hi- I know it used to be that Godaddy would not allow you to transfer your domain away from them for 30-60 days after you renew it but i also know they continually recieved a lot of criticism for it and I have not heard of any other registrar doing that so just wondering if they decided to follow thier customers wishes and stop doing that. Anyone know?

Unfortunately, all registrars have 60 days rule. Not only GoDaddy :).

Yes, it's like a kind of holding period.

It doesn't apply to internal transfers (account changes) i.e. transferring a domain to another godaddy user
