Yes, I believe some form of God exists. I think that all religions believe in different forms of one God. All beliefs in God are for the most part similar. People of different religions merely make their own interpretations on their God's expectations, and how God should be prayed to.
yes God exists. not in a special way but very ordinarily among all of us. we won't be able to see Him but surely can feel His presence when He is around.
Pls gently check the bible versions. How come the God words are different each other in each version.
For one thing, Yahweh and Elohim were different gods. The Israelites were polytheists. Even in Canaan they had multiple gods. It wasn't really until the Babylonian exile that Yahweh became, not the chief god, but the only god. That's why the "no other god before me". The writers of the Old Testament believed that there were many gods, and Yahweh was a jealous god (it says so in the Bible) and didn't want any other god to come before him in the minds of his people.
I believe in God, but the argument that everything must have a creator and this this universe has one, is insufficient to prove God's existence. It proves the necessity of existence of God, not that He actually exists.
By exactly the same (lack of) logic, it proves that God had to be created, not something any Christian wants to tackle.
Holy Necromancing Batman! A thread brought back to life after months yet again! To the batmobile! The sad thing about threads that grow so big, is that no one takes the time to read them all. The answers given years ago here pretty much exhausted this thread about "Does God Exist". The end result? People who want to believe without question will do so, and people who do not believe will not start believing. You cannot convince either side, you cannot convert someone, and the only way someone's going to change is if they research everything. Enlightenment happened for me years ago. I am made of atoms and heavy materials birthed from the suns of billions years past, made up of the materials that this ever-churning cosmos has belched out since the beginning when our universe began. My life will be short, brief on the cosmic scale, but I know more than my ancestors ever did, and I hope that the future generations learn more, instead of going backwards and eschewing science for make-believe.
Does God exist? Yes. I believe in Jesus. Then, others have their own God other than Jesus. Some believe in Evolution, Allah, Buddha (though not God, but they worship him), Apollo Quiboloy etc.
LOL. If the story of Jesus is true then Mary was and is the smartest woman on earth who fu*ked a Roman soldier and blamed it on God.
For those who believe god exists, can you ask him in your prayers to do something for the 25,000 infants who will die tomorrow of malnutrition? Because yesterday, he didn't move a finger and was just watching another 25,000 dying.
No problem - just make everyone renounce their free will and no one will die of malnutrition anymore.
I don't want to make them renounce their free will, I want them to ask the dude to help his creatures...
