I just believe that there is someone greater than all of us, if you call that God in your own thinking. Then so be it. People have their own imagination where people can freely think about these so-called Gods, it's like thinking Superman is real based on how we are raised by our parents or believing Santa Claus would come down a chimney on a silent Christmas night and you're there waiting for hours eager to see him knowing it's true. Think about it. If you were raised knowing Jesus is mighty and great and he's God's son or whatever, then what would people that was raised knowing Allah, Buddha, or other Gods of other religions would think about your known God? Heck, even religions were against other religions. It's like you hate your friend just because he/she doesn't agree with your opinions. My point is, is there really a right answer for these kind of questions anywhere? I don't think so. These kind of questions really is just making more complication toward each other's belief's, in my opinion at least.
Hi mate, Thanks for your very deep analysis to my simple thoughts.......... but sorry, your briefings not appeals to heart.
Nor do your beliefs appeal to intelligence. If your god gave us intelligence, you're not using yours. If he didn't, your beliefs aren't about reality.
I'll save you a few years. Look at psychology to help understand other religions you don't believe in... then apply all of that understanding to your own religion. You will realize there isn't an ounce of difference. While you couldn't technically prove a god doesn't exist, there is almost NO probability that one does. It is the same process for disproving a big-foot. Religious people get far to wrapped up in this thought. To be real, if a god did exist, he/she would be the farthest thing from us humans (with our emotions and hatred... just read the bible and see).

It never ceases to amaze me how stupid people look and act when they take the Bible literally . It's not a rulebook or technical manual is that so fraking hard to understand ?
Nice Galactica reference, and agreed. Let's also take into account the most holy books were written in languages distinctly separate from English or the etymological roots of English. Who knows how much metaphor, nuance, allusion and qualitative substance is lost in translation? Or that can be attributed to an error of the translator?
In other words, Bible can be full of shit but Christians still should believe that it is the word of God. Does this make sense to you?
have you heard the story about the teacher and the student?the teacher will fail his student who believes in GOd. search it, just an additional info.
I do believe in him. I've been through lots of down falls last year and when I prayed everything falls into right places.
Most people have selective memories - we remember the things that reinforce what we believe. There have probably been many times that you prayed and nothing "fell into the right place", and times when "things fell into the right place" when you didn't pray. But, since you already believe, you tend to remember the times you prayed and things got better, and you forget the other times.
