Hello I would like to know if continuosly hitting digg first page boosts ur revenue as being stated by various members that it does increase it exponentially .Would like to know how true it is. Cheers Abhishek
visitors from social bookmarking sites like digg don't click the ads as much as those coming from the search engines do. Though you can always expect a few clicks once you hit the digg homepage,
it is correct that visitors from social bookmarking sites don't click the ads as much as those coming from search engines. but getting in digg homepage you will get lot's of visitors and defiantly boost you adsense revenu.
Been wondering this myself. I am a new member at Digg was wondering how you reach the front page how does that all work out. Just based on the number of diggs and how fast you get them? Best guess more traffic more cash lol so It cant hurt to be on the front page now and then
Yes, you have to get a certain number of diggs within 24 hours. Traffic = $$ , so hitting front page will bring in revenue for sure.
abhishekjamuar social bookmarking sites helps us to generate traffic and let others know about our sites . One they visit your blog or website and find in interesting may be they can bookmark it and visit it again and again .So more traffic in future can be turned into money to .
traffic is alwasy good even if they don't increase your revenue they will increase your rank and inrease in rank gets more traffic from search engines
I've noticed that the social bookmarking websites, particularly Digg, Reddit and del.icio.us will give you short term traffic increases, sometimes only for a few hours. The quality of the traffic is not great however. By quality, I mean the visitors are not as interested in the content of a site, they're just surfing in general - mooching around so to speak. As a result, it's less likely that they'll click an ad. Although some will, and your earnings may increase for a very short period, your CTR will ultimately take a beating as you'll get an increase in impressions but not necessarily a corresponding increase in click-throughs. In the long term, I've found that I get little or no traffic from social bookmarking sites, with the notable exception of Stumbleupon, which still gives only very low numbers.
How do you plan to continuosly hit digg first page? Its almost impossible in a regular way to have the most interesting news constantly.
Traffic from Digg <-- Don't boost your revenue BUT Traffic from Digg <--May help you increasing google ranking, that may help you get more revenue. And question same other people, how to get Digg first page?
traffic from digg doesn't increase adsense revenue. i had 72 visitor from digg yesterday and i got 0 click from them!
Guys, hitting the frontpage of Digg can help increase your Adsense income INDEFINITELY. A frontpage story can garner a site thousands upon thousands of backlinks. The traffic from Digg itself is crap, however the traffic that those backlinks can bring from Google is golden.
If getting on the first page gets more traffic than YES. Obviously. The thing is that social bookarkers are a wise to all the sponsored ads and may click less.
