Does Google's geographic targeting in webmaster tools work at all? I have a website (a subdomain, content is in English, TLD is .com) on server here in Finland and geographic target has set to US. But when I run seobook's rank checker and check positions with some keyword phrases my site get much better positions in google.fi than google.com. So I think website physical location get much more weight than different settings in webmaster tools... Is it possible to move a subdomain to other server without moving top level domain?
