Hey so I saw someone on the forum mention they were using freetrafficsystem dot com to get backlinks so I figured Ide check it out. It sounds like a good concept, you write one article with two links to your site in it, spin the title and some of the content, that article gets posted on up to 30 blogs. The blogs get free content, you get free links, everybody wins. So far ive written 4 articles and according to their stats page my various articles have been posted around 50 different times so far (spinning some of the content and title so its a bit different each time). The only problem is that on their stats page they don't include the url of the blog where your article is posted so it seems like your just taking their word for it. It says on their stats page the first blog posts of my articles were put up on the 14th and several have been put up every day since then. Its now the 21st and I cant find any back links from the various articles I have written on yahoo site explorer or other back link checkers. Is it just too early for the search engines to have found them? or is this site not legitimate? Whats your experiences with FreeTrafficSystem?
Personally very good. I have wrote about 50 or so articles and not only have seen the links, but have gotten traffic from the articles I have written for the free traffic system.
I use them too. I've submitted 100+ articles into the system. I do get some traffic from the articles. I've found that the links can take a while to show up - But they do show. Just keep submitting more articles and you'll see results.
I must admit, I have wondered about free traffic claims. Mervin, if you submitted 100 articles, doesn't that mean you would have 6000 backlinks? According to their promo each article gives you two backlinks and is submitted to 30 blogs - 30 x 2 = 60 x 100 = 6000. Not sure how legit their claim is. I too wondered why they keep the blog URL hidden from members. Maybe they have a little bit of hype mixed in with some truth, I just don't know.
Not all backlinks are showing up yet but yeah I should have. I think the blogs submitted into the system are really new or don't have many links - So they get indexed very slowly. I don't know why they hide the URLs either. It is quite strange.
I think a lot of the success with the system depends on the category of your articles. A lot of the blogs in some categories are clearly bogus and completely useless... some categories though actually have very good blogs.
Hi freetrafficsystem people I've one questions to ask.. if we keep one submitting articles to the FTS, the backlinks will increase? Based on SEO, backlinks are counted by unique IP. If these 30 blogs are from different 30 ips, then it would be only 30 backlinks max even though we submit over 1000 articles, am I rite?

There are more than 30 blogs total, each article only gets on 30 blogs so when you write a new article you can put it on different blogs. As for the whole unique IP thing, I didn't think it worked like that. Are u saying for example that if I have my link posted on both pages site.com and site.com/page1 that only 1 link gets counted? That would mean submitting articles to sites like ezine would be useless after the 1st article...
when i tested it with only 1 Article and a new website this website got PR1 after the next update and some se traffic, i am even promoting it in my signature
