Does Free directories get huge traffics?

Hi all,

I had this question, recently i started adding my site to huge list of free directories. I was wondering, does this give me good amount of traffic?

which gives more traffic, paid or free directories?

 

not really traffic. but good links.

 

Yeah,

think about directories as possible backlinks, the amount of traffic is low.

 

so if it has no traffic, then its kind of low output job which consumes huge amount of time!
