    Dear Digital Point Experts,
I have a little busy forum made with Vbulletin. I had the forum and other website hacked using a simple " index file ". I cleaned it up and had restore then the next day i got hacked again. Anyways , i decided to redirect all the traffic using 301 redirect to one of my website , however it is not relevant as far as theme goes. The forum itself is clean and does not have any bad backlinks or anything foul. What is your recommendation , do i think that doing this will harm the website that is receiving traffic or what do i do ?

A 301 redirect should pass all the link juice.

    Tikomh,

It will probably pass some link authority, but it won't be as helpful as if it were the same topic as the site you are redirecting to. Google has gotten pretty good at determining relevance and they do consider that when looking at links.

I do not think it will pas all the link juice while redirecting to another website. I am telling this from my own experience. I had a blog in blogspot domain and after sometimes i transferred it to a .com domain but still the PR is not as the same as the old one. So, i think the link juice and link value does not get redirected.
