    It provides "some" SEO weight\value, but no where near as much as a normal natural backlink would, it still is an excellent source of traffic none the less :)

    Having link in your signature wont meka you appear on the first page lol,
    this has a little value for your seo, its just as a link, on any other website.

    And it pushed keyphrases like with 1 milion results from no where to top10

    people say that, sig links dont count much when it comes to back links, but these links help ur site in being crawled more often by search engine spiders

    Signature links here on DP are DOFollow so they are useful in Google.
    Not to mention all the targeted traffic that your site could receive.

    Useful, yes. In terms of traffic, visibility, etc. It will not take you to the top for PR, though.

    After adding a competitive keyword in a few weeks ago, I am seeing results. From #8 to #5, which gave extra few hundred UV.

    As it helping me in some sites whose link i had given from my signature
    But 1 suggestion i like to give you, Don't Put the link for long time to same page as it sometimes throw bad results:(

    I think DP get special treatment from Google they get ultra-fast indexing i've seen my post indexed in 4 mins as top search result for a script i was looking for so i guess signatures are good!
