Does Forum Signature is worth still?

Forum sigs are perm 1-way backlinks. What more do you want?

 

so if you had 1000 posts on digital pint, thats 1000 free backlinks? talk about juice, as digitalpoint is a popular and high quality forum = lots of backlinks = Google SEO

 

I dont think so... you just have to use it wisely or google may penalize you by link farm, it's hard but may happen if you post on EVERY NEW SINGLE THREAD on the forum

 

It helps a little but I would not expect to rank #1 for poker or something like that by using sig links as your main strategy.

yes links from do follow forum is still worth. if we do have link from do follow forum and niche forum then you will also get huge traffic.

 

If they are do follow then they count for something. Post on forums that are the same niche as your site.

 

I agree with everybody else, I see many forum links on GWT and Yahoo Explorer ^_^

 

Forum Signatures still help SEO of a website. They are still backlinks and backlinks create higher page rank. As long as it's not spam, then forum signatures are perfect and effective if your are a constant forum member and user.

Yes, it does work on some forums and blogs. If it shows up in the webmaster tools then it worked... Although it won't have as much value as a text link.
