Hi, I want to promote Fifa worldcup 2010 logos and the time table in my website, it is a commerical website if i promote those things in my site wht type of problms i have to face....i hpe they are all public any one can use i hpe there is no prblm if i use those thing in my commercial website.....i want your suggesions pls help me..... Can't you find that information on their official site? I would suppose that you will be OK if you write something like: "fifa trademark, logos, etc. are property of Fifa, this site is not affiliated with fifa, etc." You got the idea
Zexy is right! If you are not going to profit/monetize from the use of their logo, then you can use it as long as you add some sort of "courtesy" indication. The logo should be the one with the the copyright symbol and you should say something like, "this logo is a courtesy and trademark of Fifa, and this site is in no way part of or affiliated with Fifa or any of its partners". This is what usually happens when news stations use it, they give it a courtesy ID.
