Yes facebook drives huge traffic. Many of people using facebook. Nowadays facebook is mostg popular site for social networking. some body find their buddies on facebook.
Hi all Facebook in my experience is a serial time wasting site for serious marketers. Unless you are prepared to spend time building up fan pages and interacting with customers, its best you don't venture into FB just yet. Another problem is..well..the distraction that i can be to your work.
Yes...you can make a boat load of money if you are in the right programs on facebook. I give away money and that allows me to build my marketing lists at the same time.
i think it depends on what kind of site you have. some sites are only targeted for a certain group of people so its a little harder to drive traffic through social networking.
I haven't seen this mentioned yet so I'll pipe up. One Facebook page is good for nickels, 10 gets you something and 25 is more than something. Once you get a page up and running properly you can outsource just about everything BUT you still have to constantly keep up with them. 38 pages takes me about an hour a day. I've killed off about 10 that just never went anywhere. Learning the Iframes thing was a trial for a non-techie like me but it has improved things dramatically.
Of-course facebook can make more real traffic. If you have a fan page with over 1 k fan that will great for you because there you can advertise of your site that you have.
Face book is one kind of social networking site, so it must drive traffic to your site. Example: let i have 100 friend in FB then when i like a fan page or site, all of my friend notice that. If 50% of my friend feel interest on this then the site will receive 51 new visitor in a day and now taking consideration with my more 50 friends friend......it drive a hues traffic. Hope you understand. Thank you.
