I had a campaign back in March for a particular keyword and ever since I've been at #1 for that keyword. I had lots of traffic but that's not to say it was a worthwhile investment...or was it? Facebook PPC can be one of the easiest ways to drive traffic to your website but will that affect your rankings at all?
Yes, I believe Google will not spider Facebook PPC advertisements. They will however pick up your static page links and some commenting, but be careful of self promotion through those methods. You may get the ban stick..
Well after my PPC campaign expired, I'm still at #1 for this keyword. So did creating the PPC ad and driving more traffic to my website contribute to this? I did not track everything I needed to track during the PPC campaign back in March.
in one way u can be benefited through face book ppc campaign , ie; Facebook ad descriptions can be up to 135 characters long (versus 75 at AdWords). So your ad description will be more complete. In Facebook ads, it is easy to upload a small image along with your text, which helps drawing attention of your target user. Facebook advertising helps you target keywords/interests and demographic much better. Facebook now has more traffic than Google (USA). Facebook traffic is more targeted. Facebook advertising is easier to use than Google. Don’t need a website (they love affiliates) Don’t need your own product Don’t need to have an email list Don’t need to worry about Google slaps Don’t need to have “salesmanship†skills Less expensive than AdWords Flexibility on how to pay the Ads, you can choose to pay per click (CPC) or impression (CPM)
Yes officially, when you increasing your website use pay per cost adds on your Facebook account or another promoting website, as you like.
