Hi, Am about to make my very first submission to eZine. The article that I am gonna submit is of average quality (did not put much thought into it... ) ... correct grammar , punctuation etc and is totally unique. Are there any chances of rejection due to quality / correctness issues? Anybody ever faced rejection from them? On an average how long do they actually take to review (the site says 7 days)?
Yes It Will Be Approve If There Is Not Any Grammer Or Spelling Mistakes Approval Duration Normally Is ( 4 - 15 Days )
ummm yes, it can be rejected depending on the quality of the content and how informational it is vs. how pitchy (depending on your articles purpose) it is. Definitely check their guidelines as they have many regarding the articles linking etc. Good luck
I read the guidelines prior to submission and have not included a single link in the article. I think that I write decent English and most of my clients think so too! so I guess I can keep my fingers crossed and hope that they will be accepted. Wished to know are they too particular (like the site constant content is .. )
Well, as an ezinearticle member and a person who has been there browsing through some articles, I think that the site is WAY over-rated. I have read many articles there that do not use proper grammar and the sentence structure really stinks. I don't know if these somehow slipped through or not, but with their guidelines they have in place people are led to believe that the article has to be perfect to be accepted. If you don't believe me, take a few minutes to browse through the articles...
At times Ezine will reject the best of the best articles and accept an article with special characters, Ezine has a weird method of accepting or rejecting articles, which i fail to understand in most cases.
The problem comes with people misusing the word "quality." I've been using EZA since they opened (I think) and almost never see articles worth crap. Not saying that's bad. Article marketing isn't really a high-quality thing in the first place. Basically, people machine gun spam fluffed content hoping to get clicks and links. It's a quick and easy way to get something going. If you get denied it's due to a rule violation (links for example) and not quality—as you can see just by browsing through the place. But that's cool. At least there's no work or pressure to write something good. Find a couple facts, ramble on, drop 2 links down, and call it a day.
In most cases what you get is a description of the topic in question in a short form in order to make some form of an impact i've rarely ever seen any articles with proper information or valid details about what the topic might hold, but let's see what Ezine does, i've been hearing that they are planning on changing the method on how articles are reviewed on Ezine
They will also reject articles pertaining to tobacco, firearms, alcohol, and (I believe) pornography. A friend of mine writes for a group of wedding professionals, and one of the members does these cigar parties. She wrote the article and submitted it, but it was rejected. That's when she found out. so, if anyone knows of any directories where she can post this article (he does cigar rolling parties), please shoot me a line.
i hope 2 links are allowed in the resource box? I just submitted the article with 2 links in Resource box .. hope that this won't be a reason for rejection
yes, they do reject articles that are not well-written: grammatical errors. Anyway, practice make perfect iiight?
I have submitted over 200 articles to Ezine Articles, so you can refer to me as an "Ezine know How". Ezine Articles accept articles that are fair, and even in some cases, spinned PLR articles. Article marketing is not a huge thing nowadays, so it really does not matter how many articles to submit to article directories. Unless you are in the top 100 or so Author list, don't expect much from Ezine in terms of backlinks, traffic and recognition.
