Probably... 80% of the make money online blogs on the Internet have not made more than $100. If the blog style is informative and interesting, that's not a problem - a lot of them aren't though. Although my blog is updated frequently (every day if possible), it doesn't make the majority of my income - yet. Reaching John Chow status (in income) would be great, but TBH his actual blog - there is little to none good content (can't remember the last time I read something useful) and I'd prefer to see lesser bloggers with better content.
I don't think I've ever read a "making money blogging" blog Most the blogs I read are just weird news blogs, mostly for entertainment.
I think it's harder for my blog to get good $$ as most of the traffic comes from search engines (due to my blog doesn't fall into any particular niche)
Yes, I am agreed what you have said but If you are new to internet and want to know online earning tips then It is a good advice to start with money making blog. Using Money Making Blogging you can lean and earn at the same time.
Yes, I agreed that if you don't have something new and attractive to read for visitors on your Money Making Tips Blog then you might not be successful. However one advantage which you will must get from money making blog is that you can learn yourself how to earn online by writing posts for your blog.
I just Blog about whatever Smorty tells me to Blog about and I make enough (for me to be happy) with my two Blogs active in Smorty - one 150 word post = $6 - $15 .
Exactly. Bloggers may explore more on renewable energy, social justice, press freedom, environmental issues.
Ugh, its so stupid to talk about "Make Money Online" in today's blogging world. A 13 year old has the #1 spot on google for it anyways :/ I enjoy blogging about blogging and forums not necessarily making money, just talking from experience. Its useless to try and sound like an expert about making money online because when you do, its not anything special unless its 5 figures or more.
One example I'd like to point out about blogs stuffed into the "Make Money Online" category is my blog. This is its third month up and it's getting around 200 uniques/day and most of that is from RSS readers (vs. organic searches or PPC traffic). In other words, I have a loyal crowd and it's amazing. However, since I started writing, the blog has made an average of $0.17 per day (not counting any other income sources, although they almost aren't worth mentioning). What $0.17 comes out to in terms of months is around $5/month and $60/year (for the math impaired). Now I put a lot of work into this blog, researching day in and day out. I will point out that my main objective isn't to make money with the blog, although it would be nice but more-so to actually educate people on the market. But my point is that I know the money will come, but I earn more in an hour with affiliate marketing than I will with this blog all year. What matters, short of over-night success and fame, is that I'm dedicated to my readers and to building a quality name-brand on the internet that doesn't blend into the background. Stupid little "make money" blogs will come and go. People spike a bit of interest and when they see it isn't making money within the first two weeks, they move on to something else. It's just the nature of our generation at large and that's fine. It keeps people coming to us, but my point is this: You might get rich with your hundred auto-pilot blogs, but then again - you most likely won't. Put love in and you'll get love out.
