Does estibot generally undervalue or overvalue?

EstiBot values a site with the following characteristics at $500

    Backlinks: 250
    PR: 2
    Alexa: 885k
    Traffic per day: 50

The site is an established blog with about 20 entries so far.

How much would you value is? (above or below 500)?

    Thanks

Foget about auto appraisal sites, they are all a joke. Sometimes Estibot does it below what it's worth, sometimes more.

Without knowing the name, traffic & revenue, nobody can give you an appraisal.

Get a professional appraisal from a firm. They actually give a realistic value, which Estibot can't. Its worth paying for appraisals.

Paying $20 to find out that it might be worth $20 is imo not economically sound.

    what's the name?

You can almost get a free domain appraisal here or on Np. Well, it should not be that hard because many domain pros are willing to share their evaluation for free. Estibot is awesome for one thing, the data that it shows regarding each domain is worth it. But not the value itself.

How do you appraise a domain? I assume a pro appraisal would take into account the exact same stuff estibot does, revenue, ad relevance, backlinks, google searches etc. How else would you value it?

I wouldn't use a bot to determine domain appraisal values because they aren't accurate. I suggest you use expert appraisals.
