hi, lets say you have a post about honda crx. would you customize the meta tags on that particalar post about honda crx?

for example, you can just put the post description in the meta information. would that help in seo?

    thanks

If it is a forum the topic helps with search engine traffic. Same goes for blog the topic would be the words you want search for.

Forums and blog use topic and post for Seo most of the time they do not use full meta tags on each post. This forum does have topic and description for better seo.

I don't use meta tag "keywords" as much of the books that I've read says - it's not useful. Search engines doesn't care about meta keywords.

What type of sites have you got, HTML or do you blog?

I mean having a meta description does one thing - it enables YOU to determine what the description of your page is going to be. But you don't have to, the search engines will pick it up automatically.
