I was having a discussion with CompuXP and he makes the claim that drinking destroys your dignity, morals and integrity (compuxp, feel free to add/correct if you wish). I was wondering if anyone else shares this opinion and why do you think so?

I dont really care. It helps me to relax, have fun and get away from problems. Obviously it does not solve them but it gives you that little break...

Well if your alchoholic it's a bad thing but drinking in general (a bear or 2 or 3 while working on the net) doesn't make you imorale
As mightyb sad it makes you relax some time ...

No as long as your not a alchoholic it's fine even can be good for you.
    Nice bears :p

Yeah I also like a few beers a few times a week is fine.

If you drink just to drink and get drunk/ escape from life’s issues then you have an issue.

Don't they hand out wine at the church!
Drinking is part of a lot of cultures and acts to bring people together.
