Does DP have a PM spamming problem?

So I am very new here but I just got spammed via PM, does this happen alot here? Should I forward it to the admin for brownie points?

 

i got a PM from a 0 posts user too. asking me to join their forum. didn't think it was spam so i just ignored it.

if YOUR spam is 'nigerian' style forward to admin so that they can ban the user.

 

It was from "ksamimi" asking me to join their forum. And they too are a 0 posts user...

 

Did you join their forum?

 

Wonder if these people realize that most people here are industry professionals or very busy webmasters with no time for any more forums?

Nah seriously looks like a 419 scam to me. No he isn't offering anything.. but he sure wants my email address to put on his spam list.

Come on he still has 0 posts. If he wanted "friends" he would announce himself on the board.

 

no spam pm here yet. have you reported it to the admin/mods? im sure they will take care of this for you fast.

to be honest spamming me here on dp is about the best way to get my attention if you do not have my instant messanger info
