    sometimes yes, if your domain name has some keywords, its better. But most popular website online has no keywords like that
    eg - facebook,yahoo,google,twitter,ebay,amazon,QQ and etc

    Those domains got big because of the concept not the keywords. I think having keywords in the domain name has some weight in ranking.
