Does domain name has quality ?

    What is the difference in getting the domain names from different sites ?

    I am confused at this moment about this ..

    Some of my friends said it is better to have domain name at godaddy.com for medium traffic sites ..


    Please tell me /......

    if anybody really wants to guide this beginner , please pm me .....
    i need more details from you ...

    No, it absolutely does not matter where you get the domain. But you should always try to find a reputable company anyway.

    You don't want to register your domain with a company that might go out of business overnight. As it is Godaddy is pretty cheap. While they have their problems, they are as good as any for registering.

    Site hosting is another question altogether.

    yep, registrar doesnt really matter as long as you stick to the ol' reliables as they say, the only factors you want to look at on is pricing, service, and reliability

    As some of the posts have already said, it is a matter of "protecting" your domain...and does not really affect
    domain quality one way or another.

    Well known, reputable registrars are perhaps "safer" than newer/lesser known registrars, as they have an
    established track record.

    There have many short-lived registrars who buckled under the financial (or other) strains.
    At times, this has resulted in the (temporary or permanent) loss of their customers' domain names.

    No, getting domainname from different domain companies doesn't affect your site at all. But getting hosted by different hosting companies may have some impact
