My 2 sites are hit by google's latest EMD update. By changing or forwarding domain can i recover my websites position again?

not sure if that would work, but what actually worked for me was just submiting the site for reconsideration through webmasters tools and traffic is back as it was before.. and I am sure it works with this emd update if your content is original and not scraped..

Domain name change will not give you any results. What Preetam said you can request to google for reconsideration if your site content is unique and helpful for visitors. You can also give it to try by promoting one of your page through creating some quality authority site backlinks.

It worked earlier. Your site has less chances to recover after last updates of Google. :(

EMD only affects low quality sites. if you have a quality site, then EMD will not hut your site.

forwarding will not help as if you have a site that has been penalized by google for whatever the reason is, penalty will follow once you do the redirection.

not sure what your exact situation is but is some cases, improving the site quality and making it compliant with google webmaster guideline followed by a reconsideration request helps. and in some cases reconsideration request doesn't help, starting fresh with new domain is the only solution

dramatically my website http://www.cheapwebdesigncompany.net recovered the position for "cheap web design company" keyword and it is on 1st position on google.com but my rest all keywords "cheap web design, web development company and web design company" are at the bottom of the search results. I have submitted the reconsideration request also. Now will it help to recover my rest keywords?
