A UK editor wouldn't have any problem listing pro-Al-Qaeda sites. A UK-based webmaster with a race-hate or religious-hate site might whoever the target is. Still, publishing the name of an editor who listed a pro-Al-Qaeda site might put their safety in jeophardy but not from the authorities.
You can wait 1 year and DMOZ won't add your website, I tell you this from my experience. You should keep trying to submit your website.
First I'd like to point out that you site, is, in a way, rather off topic in this thread... If in your experience you are not getting in by re-submitting maybe you should re-read the submission guidelines. Start with how to apply them to your own content (no dead links, original content, and no 'default' pages, etc) and then apply them to DMOZ (submit ONCE) They have the motto of "Humans do it better" which has been proven false from BOTH sides of the fence. They have a tendency to not list decent sites, webmasters have a tendency to submit sites 100 times Either way, there is still an ice cubes chance in hell they will let you know one way or another.
I tell you this from my experience (as an Editall before I resigned), it depends entirely on the site and category how long you wait for a review and no-one can predict which category will get attention next. Quickest I ever listed was within 2 minutes of submission - I was editing a category when it appeared in the Unreviewed list and I did it immediately (and notified the amazed webmaster). I tell you this as well from my experience, people who submit over and over really irritate the hell out of editors and will often will be dealt with last. Submit once with a compliant description to the best fit category. Submit *once* more if something happens like the server fault that caused the loss of waiting submissions.
i have submited my website http://www.bookmaldives.com number of times to dmoz but still not apeared. anyone can help
