Does Disqus work like tiered link building?

Do all the comments from the blogs we comment on all add to our profile power and that is then sent to our site. I am pretty sure the site link I left in Disqus is No Follow. What is the advantage to the commentor for using Disqus. The advantage to the blog owner is very clear.

If you click the username it will show my profile. So a visitor could follow that link to my site.

What is another advantage for the commentor? Is the link in the profile sending "link juice" to my site. Does it add to my domain or page authority.
    What does it do?

Thank you for considering my question.

I followed 3 links on Disqus in this forum and didn't find the answer so I thought I should ask.

Exactly. Blog comments are in most cases nofollow and they don't pass any link juice. Don't waste your time with blog comments, even if you find ones that are dofollow, they provide such little amount of link juice that is not worth even a second of your time.

Check to see if the link is dofollow. But generaly, profile links are also very weak and provide minuscule advantage to you. If you are looking to increase domain or page authority with these kind of links you are just wasting your time friend. Cheers

    1)
If it is nofollow will it still help with TF (Majestic trust flow)

    2)
Should I be using things like:
    Sharing PDFs
    Infographics
Articles for Yahoo Voice or Blogger
    Sharing PowerPoint
    Youtube videos

    3)
Should I concentrate my efforts on Do Follow platforms almost exclusively? Any platform as long as it is related to my niche.
I'm in the addiction niche, so I don't build profiles on Drupal, correct?

    Thanks for the help

    1) No, nofollow doesn't pass TF.
    2) Sure, why not. They are good for diversity.
    3) Yep, but having a chunk of links that are nofollow is good, but most should be dofollow. Don't overdo the links, no matter if they are related or not, what I recommend is to build a base of diverse links (like you mentioned in 2), plus the others) with branded and URL anchor and than send few high PR links from a quality blog network with exact anchor. You will hammer down the competition 100% as few of these links are far more powerful than anything else you did so far.

Thanks for this reply. I am so new here I can't give you any recognition.

I have a great base of diverse links, now I need to hit do follow links. Should I also build a no follow or 2 each day plus the do follow.

Don't worry about that, just build links and make sure that most are dofollow, don't bash your head with little things. If some nofollow happens than cool, just don't over complicate.
