Does DigitalPoint violate adsense's TOS?

In the For Sale, Sites Section... they have added a new "adult site" section. Many of these threads link to adult sites. But isn't linking to an adult related site against adsenses TOS if you run adsense ads on your site?

I dont think its against their TOS, as google does have advertisers for some highly questionable words. However, if at sometime the ads get displayed on some sites.. google takes corrective measures to stop then from being screened at non adult sites.

I had that problem a while back.

    Computerized, what's the expression for?
I think that's a valid question. Some of us may not know, and would just like to make sure.
I think you should post more constructive replies.

    It states on their TOS

No mention of linking to that type of content.

Of course it matters. Why would this website be "above the law"?

They're not going to ban him because someone else violated the TOS. It's a forum, there has to be some leeway there. Of course, there is always the saying that big publishers are more on Google's good side..

I think adult content refers to actual adult content sites...not discussions about adult content sites that doesn't contain adult content in itself.

Google tends to ban small operators where the cost of sorting something out with them would be greater than losing any revenue they might bring in. For larger publisher, (especially sites that have gotten a lot of positive press for Google) I think they are more likely to contact them and try to work things out.

Keep in mind that Google makes money off the ads as well, so they don't want to get rid of people who are making them a lot of money.

Actually in an instance like this. I see it as a blatant TOS violation(linking to porn sites is just as much promotion as is having the actual porn on site) and The usual comments from Shawn is there should be no second chances for any publisher that may make a "MISTAKE." And we know this was a mistaken oversight and not a blatant disregard of the rules.

We must also look at the fact that the forum is a revenue sharing program so it is not going to be "Shawn" who gets banned but the publishers of the ads showing on the forum.
