Does "digging" a website get it indexed fast?

    It really depends. If a few people link to it it could happen very fast. With Digg alone it can be hit or miss...

    Depends, if you can get a few friends to also digg the story you will most likely get onto a page thats indexed every few hours. I have had sites indexed in down wards of 2 hrs time of going live by socializing it.

    This looks like a really good way of getting sites indexed, how often are other more static sites crawled in comparison?

    I find reddit.com works much better than digg.
