Does custom home pages allowed for adsense for search?

Are sites like these allowed to have adsense for search on them?

    www.mystart.co m
    www.the-page.ne t

if not, what are the reasons? (For example, if the the lack of content is a reason, so what if they would fill up the space with some news and some content, will that make it ok?)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that you're allowed to have websites like that.

    Can you please elaborate?
What about content limits? page amount limits? Aren't there any of those from google adsense's side?
    Is it ok by them?

That's not a problem I think, as long as you don't violate google copyright and logo. (use your own logo and name).
I have a website like that, and it is running very fine, from May of last year :)
Just add something new to the page ( not only the search box, add some features, a little of content).

By the way, I can't see the pages in your links, they are not working.

I think you're playing with fire if you put adsense on them. You have no content other than the search box. You're also mimicking the Google search engine. Adsense for search was intended to enhance the page it is on, not BE the page. If all someone wants is a search page, then www.google.com

How are you going to get any traffic?
