I have lots of 1 cents and even less than 1 cents clicks. I am wondering if it's due to cpm ads. Is the cpm ads still pay for each click thru? How to identify if it's a cpm ads?
CPM ads pay by the view not the click. PPC ads will show a eCPM to show you how muck you are making per thousand views but they pay by the click. The topic of your site and where your visitors are coming from will affect your earnings per click.
If my site have good ctr, do you think it's not worth to have cpm ads if they don't pay more for each clicks?
It's important to remember that CPM ads will pay even when the user doesn't click. I can always tell when someone is targeting my site, because I'll have channels (I love channels) that will have zero clicks and a positive CPM. And on the days where my site is getting targeted, I'm making a lot more money.
I can identify them by simply paying attention to which ads are being displayed too often across a large set of unrelated pages. A clear sign of site targeting.
If you get less CTR,go for good CPM programs like fast click, casale media or if your site has less traffic go 4 paypopup.
