Does continous approval of a directory link affect its pagerank?

    Hi,

    I have seen around here posts related to directories with good pagerank (4-7) and I was wondering if this could be related with the continous update of the links in the directory. What I am wondering is if some of those directories get such a high pagerank because they receive and approve links every second and that ads up to the sites "new content" or is it something else.

    No it's other way around...

    Pagerank is only related with backlinks and not with "new content"
