Does comments at DP count as backlinks and how can we proove this?

Comments in DP counts as backlinks if you have sig. But I don't think that if you have 100 comments you have also 100 backlinks.

 

DP signature is a backlink, and Believe me or not but it helps to get the ranking on desired keywords by using your keywords as anchor text. My Keyword ranking improved once I started using my signature with keywords on DP.

 

You are correct saying it that 100 signatures cannot be 100 back links in a day but over a period of time as soon as that thread is crawled, your signature is counted as back link.

 

I've found DP to be one of the best for getting sig links to show up quickly as backlinks.

If you search for some special topic here, for example yahoo publisher network than no doubt that you will find a results on SERP from here and if you put an anchor text on a comment for YPN that surely would count as a backlink and it is also relevant to the topic.
