Does commenting work - - violate TOS?

    I was thinking, and I am wondering..

    Comments can be seen by most bots, I think..

    Would it work to make some comments on my pages with a bunch of different keywords and stuff to try and make adsense show more relevant ads for my site?

    Comments like:

    <!-- keyword keyword keyword keyword keyword etc -->

    If so, is it against tos?

    No, I wouldn't recommend doing that. It's bad all around. Please try to build a naturally successful site from the bottom up. You'll be glad in the long run, when your blog's successes are solid and safe. Google wouldn't approve of your methods.

    its a site about making money online safely..

    300k uniques per month lol...

    my problem is that adsense wants to show ads like "Push the love button" and crap that has nothing to do with my site, and will simply not interest my visitors at all. im getting tired of using the competitive ad filter to block them

    You could always use the competitive ad filter to remove the ads that you don't want appearing on your site. Although it may just make other annoying ads run instead.

    It's hard to know what google will decide to run on your site. Try changing your content or layout a little and see what happens.

    Well i just done 60 odd pageloads across your site and forum and all ads were very relevant. Probably the most unrelated one was earn money stuffing envelopes but it still fit with the keywords of your page.

    However if you want you can also use section targeting to tell Google what areas the ads should be targeted to. It's ideal if your navigation naming keeps pulling up bad ads and that sort of thing.

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    Put your good content in between those.

    No problems, also depending on your template it may be easier to go the other way and use the code below, It does exactly as described and ignores keywords inside this tag:

    <!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

    Your menus and other irrelevant text/code goes here

    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
