Hi guys, Does a .com domain sells better than any other? Does it really make a difference? Please enlighten me on this issue. Thanks, Anand
Well, the .com is definitely more popular than the other TLDs since more people will type-in .com rather than any other TLDs. However if it is through the search engine or directory then it makes no difference.
.com always does and always will sell better. When a .com is registered, it makes all of the other domain extensions (if they're unregistered) harder to build on. It's almost like the .com owner has blackmail if they're parking it.
.com certainly sells better, if you plan to make a serious site that will build traffic and retain clients and such... I would recommend .com, if it's simply for arbitrage/mfa doesnt really matter...
It depends on the market. I've been offered more for one of my .nets than the same .com that I own. It is a different market though, specifically I am talking about an Arabic IDN of mine. .Net in the Middle East is very accepted.
I also think the same....a .com is most preferred extension. But getting a good .com is very difficult. Also some browser like opera put .com by default if it is not mentioned in the url.Like suppose we just type google and press enter...than it will open google.com
