    Hi,

    http://validator.w3.org/

    its tell element "HTML" undefined.
    why <HTML> is invalid ?

As far as the crawlers are able to browse your entire site you will be fine.
Google won't penalize non validated sites, so some small errors are not important for the SERP.

It's not AMAZINGLY important but if it's messy and incorrectly coded, you probably won't rank high.

yea you should make sure any obvious errors are fixed, and that your html code is generally clean, but not being validated will not prevent you from achieving high rankings. However, if you and a competitor are neck-and-neck in the search results and their site is validated and yours isn't that may push them to rank higher than you.

Most websites fail as fair as perfect coding standards. As long as the spiders can easily access your site and all the pages and there are no timing out issues then no it doesn't matter much.

As far as having good code, it does matter.

Uhm. My advice to you, with 657 errors: START OVER, especially for a site like that. It should be impossible to have that many errors to start with lol, but then again, I haven't looked at the source code.

    Regards,,
    Nick

Yes, this is probably the solution.... i had caps on one of my html tags and it didnt like it...

But, with regards to bad code...... I have a site that has sitelinks authority for it's main keyword, and here's the validation stats:
    Result: 367 Errors, 354 warning(s)

So.... if the code is bad enough that the search engine can't crawl it, then fix it.... but if they can crawl it, don't worry.

If it is valid then it is good otherwise you can just enter google.com in the validator and you will know how important it it. ;)

Two of my sites show 30 and 26 errors but I am not bothered much about the validation as long as my sites are crawled regularly by the search spiders / bots :)
