I heard so many good things about CJ, yet, when looking to their publisher's program, they still use old methods, like checks and wire transfer. Why not PayPal, for instance? Does CJ worth the effort to join?
After you reach the threshold of $25, a payout occurs the following month sometime around the 20th. I normally receive a check before the end of the month. Although I am going to switch to direct deposit starting this year. Is CJ worth it? I think so, I have made money not only through my BANS (ebay store) in December, but from individual advertisers that sell such divers items as domain registrations and chocolate. It depends upon your traffic and niche(s).
When PayPal did not accept Romania, a lot of nice networks were using PayPal. PayPal accepts Romania now, but CJ pays by check or by direct deposit (which, in CJ case, is not available to Romania). I was wondering: what's easier for a company? To write a check or to deposit the money in a PayPal account? Google sends the money using Western Union as an option. I bet CJ doesn't accept Western Union either... Just plain checks, which can be lost and which must travel back to US to be cashed (not to mention the time for them to go back and forth)
CJ is totally worth it in every way, there is nothing bad about the program, it might take alittle longer for them to pay but the money is right
CJ is a great affiliate network with premium merchants. We manage several programs in CJ and the conversions are good and affiliates are happy with the way they are paid.
CJ is great! I can't say enough good things about them.. I use CJ in my affiliate site and they pay every month right on time.
Pick niches that have little competition. I would do a product blog or set up a BANS site on eBay items. Do some keyword research and pick narrow niches. A lot of people do PPC I do not... not a penny and I generate more income then most people. But I've been doing it for 5 years as well.
