CJ needs to get in gear and not "reach out" but actually fix the problem. They lose money on reversals.
I think it's important this is done professionally and non-accusatory, especially if we are emailing upper management. Mr, Sir etc. As long as that's the case, I think we should all email whoever we can until we start to see a line of communication open. Also, we must presume they are reading this forum as it's already #5 on Google for 'bodybuilding.com reversed'.
No-one uses the term 'reach-out' in real life, only cj, aff-managers, and state appointed phsyciatrists who are trying to convince you they are 'your friend'.
Very strange update: I just noticed that I got my full performance incentive today. It was for the full amount, and in "locked" status as usual. I guess all the canceled commissions didn't effect my bonus... very strange. I still haven't heard back from CJ or BB.com
I wrote a reply to Gary davis's email and he just sent me this. He is the vice president and chief finance operator. Apparently crystal the affiliate manager is out of the office. I just wonder if my theory was correct about someone actually filling in for her and they screwed up. ******************* I understand she is at our marketing summit, and will be back in the office tomorrow. I did not lose track of you and will get you and others an answer. Thanks. Gary
Yeah I agree. I'm trying to remain professional in the emails. Gary Davis seems to be the one on the ball right now. He is looking into it.
Just got a reply from John Shumate, Director of Advertising: I am beginning to think that the theory of the substitute filling in screwing this all up is probably the most likely at this time.
I contacted him yesterday never got a reply. It sounds like he talked to her though if he said she will be contacting you.
She never got back to me. I am assuming that he just said sent Crystal a message and then replied with that to me so he didn't have to deal with it...
The beauty of this interweb thing is that you can pick up your email and check in with your affiliates or CFO from anywhere. You can even send out an email like "There is a problem, I am not in the office until ________ but be assured I am as upset about this as you are". This feature is especially useful if you work for a multi-million dollar online company.
I am 99% sure that bonuses are paid out 2 months after the commish is earned so that bonus would be for January's sales.
Hi ... am having similar issues with cj. Once I discovered sales made, but no commissions reported, I traced the problem back to last July. My issues involve two hosting companies, which aren't commonly owned, and a writing software company. I, too, contacted cj, but was referred to clients. Heard back from one hosting client, but no one else. We shall see, I guess.
