Hey everyone, I noticed something weird in CJ. This also happened a couple of months ago but it was a small amount. This time, it's a lot more. I had sales on feb 19, 22, 24, 26,27 and 28. This morning the commissions were in my reports under "New". Today all of my commissions changed to 0 and my Balance reduced a significant amount. Does anyone know what would cause this and why? Would it possibly be from refunds? Below is what I see now! This just happened to me tonight on cj for my february sales for bodybuilding.com Is that what you are with? Based on your signature I assume so. I had over a dozen transactions zeroed out for bodybuilding.com. I don't know why. are they quitting cj or something? They still have the application page on their site. Im contacting cj about it.
I've heard similar stories about different advertisers on CJ. Most of the advertisers are fine but some have a track record of reversing sales / leads without good reason. It's not CJ though. Contact your advertiser directly (bodybuilding.com?) and ask them why your sales were reversed.

I will definitely let you guys know how this turns out. Out of curiosity though, if the advertiser still refuses to hand out commissions to there publishers from valid sales, can CJ be intervened? Will they be able to do anything to help out the publisher?

yeah waiting for respnse too. i also emailed cj too but they werent hlpful. if bb.com doesn't fix this or reply im reporting them again to cj.com for fraud. I suggest you guys email cj too, so they know something is wrong when they get multiple complaints.
I don't think CJ will be able to help you. CJ can only pay if they receive money from the advertiser. If you have been a victim of fraud, then it is your responsibility to take it to court and not CJ's. The best thing to do though would be to just find another advertiser unless you happen to be owed a lot of money.
Well they are still "active" in the system and they dont seem to be going anywhere so CJ CAN enforce the commissions and get the money if they reversed them for no reason. Unless they left the system forever which they arent, they shouldn't be able to get away with it. Right now im taking it up with CJ and having them try to investigate the manner.
I have the same issue. All of my BB transactions from February have been reversed 1 by 1 in the last day. They're from different ads, on different days, so there's no way they're all reversed, where the previous month there was about the same number of sales with no reversals. A friend of mine had all his commissions zeroed out as well, except he says they just disappeared instead. This is outrageous. CJ was no help so far, they told me to take it up with bodybuilding via their internal mail, which I did. No response yet. BTW, the reason for reversal is listed as "Other". Sounds like a bunch of bs or a fat error. Artem
yeah, if don't get a response from bb.com affiliate manager soon ill take it up with their "higher management" at bb.com.
Hey everyone, I need all of your help. CJ replied to me and they're going to investigate the issue but they advised that no one else submitted any complaints yet. Can you all open a ticket/case with CJ advising them of the issue with your commissions last month with bodybuilding.com so they can escalate this and investigate the issue at a more rapid rate? I opened my ticket under - conact us - category - payment, sub category - payment discrepencies. Here was the reply from CJ As far as I am aware we have not had complaints regarding this merchant, however, I do see what you are seeing here, and there is no reason that advertisers should refuse to pay for legitimate commissions. I will send the inquiry over to our compliance department, and they will be able to investigate the situation more thoroughly. We will get back to you shortly. We hope this answers your question. Thanks for the report. I already have a ticket opened at cj. The first response was just a standard reply, but I responded again asking for an investigation etc. Hopefully the next response will be similiar to yours.
